We are very glad to have a Multisensory integration therapy unit by God's grace. It's a great exposure to our kids. There have some gap with everyday tasks because of some sensory issues. It's not their fault, but it happened naturally. Multi sensory integration is an innate neurobiological process and refers to the integration and participation of sensory stimulation from the environment by the brain in contrast sensory integrative dysfunction is a disorder in which sensory input is not integrated or organized appropriately in the brain and may produce varying degrees of problems in development, information processing and behavior.
Sensory integration therapy improves daily functions. Sensory integration therapy uses play activities in ways designed to change how to brain reacts to touch, sound, sight and movement. It helps make better sense of the information they receive and use it to better participate in everyday tasks. It is mainly used for children with autism, cerebral palsy, ADHD, ADD, OCD, Down's Syndrome etc. so it's a great relief for them. They'll become so smarter and will say 'We can'. That's our aim and pleasure.
